Hit this place before it falls above the radar

I know Sara and I already did a post on Kiriko, the sushi bar nestled in the row of comfort food-based ramen, soondubu and curry establishments on Sawtelle, but I have recently seen a number of publications lauding this place as one of the best kept sushi bar secrets in town - unassuming and high in quality.  Not to toot our own horn, but we posted about this shit months ago.  Not a big deal.  Next time, when I tell you to buy AIG stock at $100 or Pets.com at $20, pull your skirt up and squeeze the trigger.  Then you can live the high-rolling life like me.  Now excuse me while I scrape the chalupa stains off my charcoal POÄNG IKEA armchair.

I went back to Kiriko on Friday and had an astounding warm mushroom and spinach leaf salad.  Fantasic.  Order that, the spicy miso albacore hand roll (I promise, despite the dubiously American description its simple and amazing) and whatever the Japanese professional who hasn’t had a haircut in 4 years next to you orders.  You can thank me with stock options.
