Let’s go to the sausage and beer emporium, shall we?

Wurstkuche looks like a weird, German hipster skateboard shop from the outside.  Thankfully, its a hell of a lot cooler than that on the inside. Want a rattlesnake bratwurst? Ok fine, maybe that’s a little intense. Settle for a jalapeno and mango chicken sausage or bratwurst with sweet peppers and caramelized onions. Settle for the multiple tasty beers and Chimay on tap. Settle for the truffle-glazed thick cut fries with multiple dipping sauces. Settle for a kitchen that is open until midnight every night, with the bar closing around 1:30 am.

An ideal place for a great mid-day lazy lunch or a pit-stop to absorb the Don Julio shots you took at Rivera or Library Bar after work on a Friday.

Wurstkuche, 800 E 3rd Street, Downtown Los Angeles, CA 90013, (213) 687-4444.
