In a bit of a drunken epiphany the night before, I decided to go to the Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel for brunch the next morning with a friend. I am normally a little hesitant to frequent places that double as “Get Shorty” set pieces, but I have to say this place does at least two things right (at a premium):
1) the bloody mary’s are fabulous; and
